Declan and Elliott Bower A TEENAGE driver who killed four people in a horror crash, including a 16-month-old baby, had posted a photo taunting police weeks earlier.

Elliott Bower, 18, was at the wheel of a stolen VW Golf while being pursued by officers when he crashed into a family driving home from a day trip.

The victims included a dad and his infant son. Three other people were seriously injured, including a three-year-old girl still fighting for her life in hospital.

Just weeks earlier Bower and brother Declan, 23, a passenger in the stolen car, posed for a photo insulting police.

Bower is seen smoking and sticking up his middle finger in the Facebook snap, captioned: “F*** da police.”

On November 9, he was being chased by police when he smashed into a VW Touran carrying seven people.

Adnan Ashraf Jarral, 35, died with his baby son Mohammed. Miroslav Duna, 50, and his wife Vlasta Dunova, 41, were also killed. Their daughter Nikola Dunova, 22, and granddaughter Livia Matova, three, plus Adnan’s wife Erika Kroscenova, 32, were seriously injured.

The Bowers appeared handcuffed yesterday at Sheffield crown court, South Yorks. They spoke only to confirm their names and ages and enter pleas.

Bower pleaded guilty to four counts of causing death by dangerous driving and three counts of causing serious injury. Declan admitted aggravated vehicle taking and possession of a bladed article.

Judge Jeremy Richardson told them: “This is an exceptionally serious case of its kind. Imprisonment is inevitable.

“The only issue for me to resolve is how long that sentence will be. Make no mistake, you will be punished.”

A boy of 17, who cannot be named, pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicle taking and possessing cannabis.

The Bower pair, of Sheffield, were remanded in custody until sentencing at Doncaster crown court on January 28. KILLED Vlasta Dunova and husband Miroslav Duna; Adnan Ashraf Jarral and baby son
