SKATE IDEA TO BOOST SALES?

Iceland is trialling an ice rink at one of its stores. The grocery chain said the move in its Stratford branch aimed to “bring some fun to what is often seen as another festive chore – the Christmas food shop”.

Its research found four in five parents wanted more time to enjoy the Christmas run-up while nine out of 10 kids are bored by food shopping. Last Christmas the chain slipped up as it was hit by supply chain issues over the critical festive trading period.
