JIMMY CASE struck a hat-trick to fire Liverpool into the quarter-finals of the European Cup. Case only started when Steve Heighway withdrew with tonsilitis late on. Case scored all the Reds goals in a 3-0 win over Polish side Slask Wroclaw, going through 5-1 on aggregate.
