999 staff’s thanks to elf service
TWO brothers played Santa’s elves to deliver food hampers to hardworking 999 staff.
Nine-year-old twins Alfie and Charlie Mungins took the gifts to police and fire crews to show their appreciation.
They came with a note saying: “Thank you for your work”, signed from “Elf Charlie and Elf Alfie”.
Emergency workers in their home town of Bury, Greater Manchester launched a Facebook appeal to find the boys.
When the lads got in touch they posted a photo with them, saying: “Here’s a BIG thank-you to two young stars.”
