DEFIANT PRICE

-

GERWYN PRICE has no intention of toning down his act as the bad boy of darts and warned: “If they don’t like it, tough luck.”

In an ill-tempered final with Gary Anderson, which is under investigation by the sport’s regulatory authority, Price (left) won his first major title at last month’s Grand Slam of Darts. And the ex-Neath rugby star said: “I am on stage to do a job – same as when I played rugby.

“I do everything I can to win, and if that means being aggressive so be it.”

Price will start his campaign against Geert Nentjes or Nathan Aspinall.
