Amy’s ex hits back at drug abuse claims
AMY Winehouse’s ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil has said their drug use was exaggerated, and insisted: “Amy didn’t do anything Amy didn’t want to do.”
Fielder-Civil, who was married to the singer from 2007 to 2009, said: “The drug thing has been attributed to me for years.
“Me and Amy only used drugs together maybe six months of our marriage.
“I did heroin maybe four or five times.”
Amy died of alcohol poisoning in 2011, aged 27.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, FielderCivil slammed a show featuring an Amy hologram, suggesting it was a bid to cash in on her memory.
Her family said proceeds would go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
