A tax tribunal previously rejected his appeal after HMRC blocked him from using an accounting dates change to shield some earnings from 50% tax.
The star, 30, who made an estimated £24million playing Potter’s pal Ron Weasley, is now taking his case to the Upper Tribunal.
This week he told Radio Times: “I actually don’t know how much I have.”
