Nick at the Old Vic?
Knowles fancies acting but will leave the music alone
NICK Knowles reckons he could soon be treading the boards instead of sanding them – as the DIY SOS star tries his hand at acting.
But you won’t see him playing Hammerlet at the Old Vic as he’s on his way to Hollywood.
In a podcast before he went into I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! he said he had turned down roles in the past but dreamed of one day making a film retracing Elvis’s steps.
He added: “I’m working with a studio in the US from January.
“So maybe mid-year there might be something.” But yesterday he said he will not be playing any gigs despite hitting No1 last week with single Make You Feel My Love, from 2017 album Every Kind Of People.
He told the Mirror as he left Australia: “I honestly don’t think anyone needs to suffer an entire gig from me.”
In camp Nick talked of his music and said he had jammed with Biffy Clyro.
They denied it and his sons told him as he left the jungle. Nick said: “I imagine their management told them to distance themselves from me!”
