It’s not unusual for companies like Ferrari to get together with a coachbuilder to produce a limited run of cars. Aston Martin, too, has made quite a few specials with Italian artisans Zagato. But Nissan?

The Japanese giant has now joined forces with Pininfarina to create this beauty. It’s a Nissan GT-R with subtle yet striking modifications to its body.

Nissan will build 50 of these GT-R50s (the 50 bit celebrates half a century of the Nissan GT-R). Aside from the styling, the GT-R50 gets a highly tuned 720bhp engine. You’ll need deep pockets though as each one will cost a huge 990,000 euro.
