SAS boast of ship quiz Brit

A PENSIONER suspected of smuggling cocaine on a cruise liner boasted of being an SAS veteran, it was claimed yesterday.

Roger Clarke, 72, also told pals he had been a para and a club compere who worked with celebs.

An expat who knew him in Spain said: “There was something about him I couldn’t put my finger on.”

Clarke and wife Sue, 70, are in custody in Lisbon after police allegedly found 9kg of drugs in their suitcases on a UK-bound ship.
