Terror-proof bollards plan
BARRIERS and bollards will be installed across a city centre to thwart terror attacks involving vehicles.
Manchester council will spend £250,000 on the measures under advice from counter-terror police.
Chiefs will not say which locations will be protected but a report said they were “high footfall” areas.
Council deputy leader Nigel Murphy said: “This will include measures at several locations... and will likely include bollards and street furniture.”
