Poison probe funeral block
Natalie Rivers A DAUGHTER was told to cancel her father’s funeral by police investigating suspected poisonings at a hospital’s stroke unit.
She said he should have been laid to rest this week but his body was taken away to be examined.
Three nurses at Blackpool’s Victoria Hospital have been arrested, suspended and bailed while the probe continues.
The woman, who did not wish to be named, said: “I would not wish this on my worst enemy.”
