‘Reconciliation needed after divisive week’
THE Archbishop of Canterbury says there is a need for reconciliation after a “week of deep division” over Brexit.
The Most Rev Justin Welby, right, called on the Government to establish a “reconciliation unit” to work across Whitehall departments with faith groups to bring people together.
Speaking at a debate on the role of reconciliation in British foreign policy, he said it must also “become central to our future in this country”. He added: “Disagreeing well ... and respecting the difference is paramount.”
