Ex-pats keeping their powder dry

An ex-pat British couple in their 70s have been arrested in Lisbon after cops allegedly found £2million worth of cocaine in their suitcases.

Portuguese police say they have yet to utter a word to confirm their guilt or claim innocence.

If I was them I’d say I was planning to return to the UK but was worried sick about the BBC taking away free TV licences for over-75s so I was just building a nest egg to pay for it.
