Judge: Yobs’ cops attack rap ‘too soft’

GUILTY Euell, left, & Payne A JUDGE has questioned why a pair of yobs who attacked two police officers were not charged with more serious offences.

One thug “fly-kicked” a female officer into the path of a moving bus.

She suffered a cut to the head and a male officer was left with a broken rib.

Video of the attack in Merton, South London, on November 17 went viral.

Kursan Euell, 20, of Catford, South East London, and Martin Payne, 19, of New Malden, South West London, yesterday pleaded guilty to actual bodily harm.

Judge Sarah Plaschkes QC said: “The court is concerned if these counts reflect the full criminality.”

Sentencing will be next month at Kingston crown court, South West London.
