HOWE STINGS THE BLUES IN WILSON LINK

-

EDDIE HOWE has issued a hands-off warning to Chelsea over Bournemouth star Callum Wilson. The Blues are confident of completing a £30million swoop for the England striker (above) next month. Wilson is set to return from a hamstring injury at Wolves today – and Cherries boss Howe said: “Callum has had an excellent season to this point.

“Physically he has been very good this season and this is the first problem he has had. “Callum is focusing on his football and we are not anticipating losing any players in January we don’t want to. I’m just pleased with his enjoyment of the game at the moment.

“He seems very happy, he has a spring in his step, he is buzzing around the training ground and there is a very good feel about him.

“I want him to continue to enjoy it because if he continues to play with a smile, that means he is scoring goals.”
