BER: PLAY IT AGAIN

- BY DAVE ARMITAGE

SAIDO BERAHINO says Stoke need more of the same if they are to mount a serious promotion bid.

The Potters are on an eight-match unbeaten run but the £12 million striker (above) says they need to chalk up more wins after a poor start to the season.

Gary Rowett’s side were installed as title favourites before a ball was kicked but were left playing catch-up after just two wins in their opening 10 games.

Berahino says it’s time to kick-on against an Aston Villa side who have banged in 17 goals in their last five games.

He said: “We haven’t let in as many goals as we did at the start of the season, so we are now tough to beat.

“We have to make sure we get as many points as we can because we know that in the Championship anything can happen.”

He added: “I watched Villa at West Brom and they were brilliant, but we have to find their weaknesses.

“We know what they are about going forward, but we have to find those weaknesses and try to exploit them.”
