Schools used by 93% of us get un­der £6,000 fund­ing per pupil while av­er­age day fees top £17,000 for the pay­ing 7%.

Pri­vate ed­u­ca­tion is at the heart of in­equal­ity. So when the pub­lic sec­tor teaches the priv­i­leged about ef­fi­ciency, the Tory squeeze smacks of con­tempt by a few for the many.
