Pool moaners steamed up

A STEAM room that was “too steamy” and swimmers splashing are among the complaints received by an award-winning pool.

One customer phoned up to ask “Is the deep end deep?”, and another said that the sauna is “too hot”.

The staff at Jesmond Pool, in Newcastle, respond to any complaints.

But Phil Drape said: “Explaining the steam room was rather tricky.

“Sometimes we may ask to see people face to face to explain.”
