GUNNERS CHASING MENACE OF DENIS

CHELSEA have been in contact with Juventus in a desperate bid to sign Gonzalo Higuain.

Maurizio Sarri is determined to get a new striker this month, with Higuain (right) top of his wish list.

But the 31-year-old is on loan at AC Milan and they want to keep him despite the Blues’ interest. ARSENAL have not given up on signing Denis Suarez this month – despite the club’s block on transfers.

Boss Unai Emery confirmed the Gunners can only have loan deals in this window, but are still in talks over Suarez (right) with the Barcelona midfielder keen to move to the Emirates because of a lack of game time at the Nou Camp.

It would have to be a loan, with a view to a permanent deal of about £18million in the summer.
