FULHAM were ready to pursue a case against the FA to try to win £1million compensation.

The West London club were unhappy that no replay was ordered for a match in the 1982-3 season at Derby when their midfielder Robert Wilson was attacked by a fan. They claimed defeat in that match cost them promotion from Division Two.
