PEP GUARDIOLA claims Manchester City will not be held to ransom by paying £100million to sign Wolves’ Ruben Neves.

Neves is understood to feature on City’s list of targets to take some of the burden off Fernandinh­o in the Blues’ OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER hailed David De Gea as the world’s No.1 goalkeeper after his heroic performanc­e last night.

De Gea made 11 saves to single-handedly deny Tottenham, and Solskjaer put him alongside Manchester United greats Edwin van der Sar and Peter Schmeichel.

After a sixth win in his six games as caretaker boss – giving himself a real chance of earning the fulltime job – Solskjaer said: “He’s the best keeper in the world.
