LOWE: I KNEW WE’D NICK IT

- Moore-Taylor 9, Lewington 36 Stokes og 53

BURY boss Ryan Lowe saluted a great comeback win after Nicky Adams’ last-gasp header beat promotion rivals MK Dons.

Jordan Moore-Taylor nodded MK ahead but Jay O’Shea levelled from the spot after Lee Nicholls had saved his earlier penalty.

The Dons went 3-1 up through Dean Lewington and a Chris Stokes own goal. But Dom Telford and Danny Mayor dragged the Shakers back to 3-3 before Adams’ 91st-minute heroics.

“Once we got the goal back for 3-2, I fancied we might do it,” Lowe said. “The players have shown resilience in bundles.

“They just don’t want to be beaten and that’s brilliant for me.

“Some of the lads were badly scarred by relegation last season, but we’ve managed to drum that winning habit back into them.”
