DWIGHT’S KID BREAKFAST SHOW

DWIGHT McNEIL still enjoys having breakfast at the Burnley training ground with the Under-23 team he has now left behind.

At Turf Moor he had struggling Fulham on toast as Sean Dyche’s side continued their climb away from the relegation zone with a third straight Premier League win.

McNeil was watched by England Under-21 coach Aidy Boothroyd, who is considering calling the 19-year-old former Manchester United academy player into his next squad. “I still go in with the Under 23s for breakfast,” said McNeil (left). “The first team have the same breakfast but they are half an hour after us so I get in early.”

The Rochdale-born teenager’s idol was Ryan Giggs. “I am trying to model my game on him but still have a lot to do,” he said.
