June’s Whit was simply Ab Fab

Thank you for your features on the extraordinary life of the late comedy legend Dame June Whitfield (Mirror, Jan 10 and 11).

The stories of her early life and living through the Blitz were amazing, as was her affection for her family.

It seems June’s talent for acting and comedy got her through the tough times. What a fantastic life.
