-

Ace shows off a trophy LITTLE rocket Ronnie Carter, four, may be too young for school but that hasn’t stopped him becoming one of Europe’s best boy racers.

Fearless Ronnie hit speeds of over 40mph to finish ninth against far older lads in the elite Bambino Kart Club Championships last year.

And he took his first chequered flag recently after being given a special invitation to the Spanish Winter Cup. Dad Dale, 34, who

Dale and his son gave him a go-kart on his third birthday, said: “As soon as he jumped in he was flying. He’s incredibly talented and not afraid. He’s the youngest driver in the country. The next youngest is nearly six.”

Ronnie honed his skills on a wheelie bin obstacle course set up by former rally driver Dale outside his home in Runcorn, Cheshire.

And while Ronnie’s mum “does get scared” for her son, electrician Dale reckons he can emulate Formula One king Lewis Hamilton.

“He is good enough to go all the way,” Dale said. “He wants to win.” Talented Ronnie gets up to top speed while taking on older racers Ronnie was a natural from day one
