EVERTON midfielder Andy King struck late in the Merseyside derby at Anfield to keep Blues’ title hopes alive. The man who had scored the winner against Liverpool at Goodison earlier in the season, cancelled out an early strike by Kenny Dalglish. The equaliser by King, who died of a heart attack aged just 58 in 2015, ultimately failed to stop the Reds claiming an 11th league title. Everton finished the season in fourth place.
