Hammers clear-out

- BY DARREN LEWIS

WEST HAM are set for a summer clearout to avoid breaking the rules on Financial Fair Play.

Boss Manuel Pellegrini was backed to the tune of around £100million last summer as the Irons looked to support him in the transfer market.

High wages on several players, however, mean the club have pushed their wage bill to the limit with fears of an FFP fine or a transfer ban.

It means West Ham could allow Andy Carroll to leave on a free and may also be forced to listen to offers for strikers Lucas Perez and Javier Hernandez.
