AINTREE’S D’AIR RAID
BUVEUR D’AIR is “fine” after his early fall in Tuesday’s Champion Hurdle — and will seek compensation in the Aintree Hurdle three weeks today.
“I would have thought that’s where he’ll go,” said Nicky Henderson (left), whose two-time winner surrendered his crown with a fall at the third flight. “He’s fine. He had a race — he finished it but he didn’t have a jockey on, and apparently you have to!”
