SWANSEA have blocked Brighton’s first approach for Graham Potter.
Seagulls chairman Tony Bloom has made Swans boss Potter his No.1 target to become their manager.
They were hoping to hold taaqlkusicwkitahpPpooitntetmr aenndt tmoake replace Chris Hughton, who was sacked on Monday.
But Swansea have denied Brighton permission to speak to Potter, 43, and may also want up to £2million in compensation.
Potter could be tempted to move for a Premier League job, although Swansea are desperate for him to stay and are ready to offer assurances about the club’s future.
