McDonald’s staff dedicate their time to help keep local communities tidy

From plastic bags in trees to sweet wrappers strewn on the streets, we’ve all had enough of rubbish spoiling the look of the areas where we live and work.

So, when we teamed up with McDonald’s for a litter action month in June, we asked our readers to vote for the UK areas in most need of a spring clean, and it came as little surprise that you responded in droves.

From Scotland all the way down to Cornwall and across Wales, the message from you was loud and clear – it’s time to tackle the trash.
