3yrs for train bomb hoaxer
A HOAXER who told train passengers he had a bomb was jailed for three years.
Shaun Walsh, 26, terrified people on a service from Bristol Temple Meads to Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, on April 23.
Edward Hetherington, prosecuting, said: “Walsh was heard to say ‘I’ve got a bomb – it will kill you all’.”
Walsh, of Bristol, denied communicating false information in a bomb hoax but was convicted in May.
Sentencing at the city’s crown court, the judge said he had “caused alarm”.
