Barca bag up Baggies boy Barry

- BIG MOVE BY JAMES NURSEY

BOURNEMOUTH are offering Callum Wilson a big-money deal but Arsenal target Ryan Fraser remains in limbo.

The Cherries have tabled a five-year contract worth around £100,000 a week to tie down England striker Wilson (above). But Fraser, 25, is due to be out of contract in a year when he can quit for nothing, having rejected a new deal.

The Gunners are keen on the Scot who is high on their list of potential signings if they fail to land £80millionrated Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace. ASTON VILLA new-boy Ezri Konsa cannot wait to learn from John Terry.

Villa took their summer spending to £80million by signing the defender from Brentford for £12m.

The England Under-21 international (left) was bought by Villa boss Dean Smith when he was in charge at Griffin Park.

Konsa, 21, said: “I can’t wait to get started with Dean again and especially John Terry. You have a legend here who used to be a centre-back in John, It will help me a lot.” Morrison could be Wilder’s wild card CHRIS WILDER will decide whether to offer Ravel Morrison a contract after his side’s friendly against Northampton Town a week on Saturday.

Wilder has been impressed with Morrison (above) for the two weeks he has trained with Sheffield United.

The former Manchester United, West Ham and Lazio midfielder is a free agent since Swedish club Ostersunds FK released him last month. Wilder feels a fit Morrison could add creativity and said: “He’s impressed everybody.” WEST BROM are raging after Barcelona announced the signing of one of their top starlets, striker Louie Barry.

But the Baggies and the FA have still to ratify the move, which means the 16-year-old cannot yet play for the Spanish giants.

Club officials accept the move is inevitable, but they are furious at getting just £235,000 in compensation. This is because of FIFA’s flat rate for payments to overseas clubs for young players.

Paris Saint-Germain offered him a five-year deal, but Barry has instead opted for Barcelona on a three-year contract.

LEEDS UNITED are expected to snub the chance to sign Gary Cahill following his release by Chelsea.

The Elland Road outfit are in the market for a new centre-back following Pontus Jansson’s switch to Brentford. But the England international, 33, does not fit the bill, despite seven successful years at Stamford Bridge.
