ROMANCE Adam & Sarah CORRIE star Sam Robertson admits he thought about swapping the cobbles for koalas as he plotted a Down Under escape.

He said: “Whenever I’ve been down in the dumps ... I look at the pics on Instagram and I’m like, ‘Yeah right, I’m going go ditch this and move to Sydney’.”

Sam, who has been in an on-screen relationship with Sarah Platt, played by Tina O’Brien, agreed to stay on after meeting show bosses and taking a break to sort out his “headspace”. ■ Coronation Street returns on Monday with a double episode at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
