320 kids may be homeless

MORE than 300 children could become homeless over summer due to the housing crisis.

The Local Government Association says 320 youngsters in England could go into temporary accommodation if recent trends are followed.

LGA said a lack of housing meant finding homes is an “almost insurmountable challenge”.

Housing Minister Heather Wheeler said: “We are working so families have a safe place to stay.”
