‘Ice cream vans torched in trade war’
ANGERED Tony del Busso A FURIOUS ice cream man claims his two vans were torched by arsonists as part of a bitter summer holidays turf war.
Tony Del Busso believes rival sellers may have targeted his family-run business setting the vans alight on his drive.
The blaze also spread to his house in Hinckley, Leics, destroying a garage and bedroom on Thursday.
The 50-year-old, known as Mr Cool, who runs the business with his wife Yvonne said: “We suspect because of the fact they targeted two ice cream vans, it was something to do with competitors stopping us from trading.
“This time of year, we are heavily booked. It’s destroyed the business.
