MAC BLAST FORE KYLE

RAGING Robert MacIntyre last night let rip at dangerous American Kyle Stanley for flooring his caddie’s mother during an explosive Open bust-up.

The seething Scottish star launched a furious blast at his inconsiderate rival after an incident on the penultimate hole of his second round.

MacIntyre was disgusted after Stanley failed to shout “fore” to warn spectators to take cover after a loose tee-shot speared straight for the crowd.

The Oban lad’s mood darkened further when he discovered the missile had plunged into caddie Greg Milne’s mum, Stephanie, who had travelled up from Dublin to lend her support. Stanley (below) had also failed to give a shout three holes earlier, when another misguided strike clattered the shins of a course marshal. MacIntyre, 22, issued an angry on-course blast straight at the careless Yank and said: “Aye, there were harsh words. It wasn’t too pleasant, but you’ve got to tell him it’s not right. He didn’t take it well at all. I wasn’t happy with what had happened.

“It hit Greg’s mum. So I told him how it was. I said he wasn’t happy and he didn’t really like the response.”
