Family ‘sick in same hotel’

A FAMILY fell seriously ill at the same hotel as tragic John and Susan Cooper.

Sarah McCormick, 37 and husband Thomas, 42, caught shigella, and daughters Paige 15, and Lexi, 9, were also sick at the Aqua Magic in Hurghada last year.

Thomas, from Wimborne, Dorset, also contracted salmonella.

Sarah said, “I thought he could be dying.”

Tour operator Thomas Cook is looking into a legal claim from the famiy.
