Grade way to earn rewards
MILLIONS of parents will give their kids an average of £150 for good GCSEs results tomorrow.
Nearly eight in 10 reward good grades with cash or gifts such as video games or phones, research shows.
One of the main reasons given was to teach teens about the link between hard work and money.
Nici Audhlam-Gardiner of financial services firm OneFamily, which carried out the study, said: “It can be a valuable opportunity to impart lessons.”
