OWLS GO SOARING TO TOP
KADEEM HARRIS sent Sheffield Wednesday to the top of the Championship and boosted Lee Bullen’s hopes of landing the Owls job permanently.
Harris (above) has proved to be an astute free signing from Cardiff this summer and the winger scored his first goal at Hillsborough to take his tally for the season to two.
His effort transformed the mood after the Owls were booed off at the break because of their poor first-half showing.
The Hatters had played well enough in the first half to take something from the game before keeper Simon Sluga’s error gifted Wednesday their goal in the 54th minute.
Luton began brightly and went close from a sweeping move, which culminated in Ryan Tunnicliffe shooting over, before Kazenga LuaLua had another effort saved.
