JAILED David Pomphret AN IT worker who bludgeoned his wife to death has been jailed for life after a judge branded him “an accomplished liar”.

Bespectacled “quiet man” David Pomphret, 51, battered wife Ann Marie, 49, over the head 30 times with a crowbar at stables in Winwick, Cheshire.

Pomphret claimed he found his wife of 22 years dead but traces of blood on his socks placed him at the crime scene, Liverpool crown court heard.

He later claimed temporary loss of control due to his “volatile” wife’s behaviour but a jury convicted him of murder.

Judge David Aubrey said Pomphret would serve a minimum of 20 years.

He told him: “It was a web of deceit and lies.

“In my judgment you are an accomplished liar.” Abbey with ex-footballer Peter Crouch HOW about this for a heavenly way to give birth…

Women could have a baby in space within 12 years, according to scientist Dr Egbert Edelbroek. The founder and chief executive of SpaceBorn United said the firm was designing missions where pregnant women can give birth in orbit.

And he believes happen by 2031.

Dr Edelbroek said: “You can induce the labour process like they do in IVF clinics on a daily basis.

“Planning is, of course, an issue, it is hard to plan a natural process like this if there is something wrong with the weather, or a delay with the launch.

“We could never work with just one pregnant woman. We would have maybe it could Spacecraft Abbey with Sophia 30 participants and they could step out at any moment. The experts that we work with believe, and I believe, that this is possible at a lower risk level than an average Western-style delivery on Earth.” The aim is to launch 24 to 36-hour space missions for women in labour.

They would need to have already had two flawless deliveries and natural radiation resistance, the Asgardia Space and Science Congress in Darmstadt, Germany, heard.

SpaceBorn Utd researches conditions for human reproduction in space. Space tourism is expected to take off for the wealthy in the next decade.
