THE mum of a toddler who fell to his death from their ninth-floor flat has paid tribute to her tragic son.

Duygu Agac claimed 18-month-old Ali plunged 100ft because the locks on the window of the home were faulty.

She said: “He was a wonderful boy. I am heartbroken. I had reported the window.

“The council came as an emergency but they thought there was a problem with the window frame but it wasn’t, it was the handle that locks.

“They were due to come and fix it this week. When they came, they closed the window but the handle didn’t lock. We want a full investigation.” Family members described Ali as an “angel”. A cousin said: “We’re all grieving. His mum and dad are heartbroken.” The tot fell from the flat in Tottenham, North London, last Thursday morning.

He was rushed to hospital but doctors could not save him. Haringey council chief executive Zina Etheridge said: “Our deepest sympathies are with the family.”

She said the block Agac fell from is maintained by Homes for Haringey and added: “They are carrying out a full investigation.

“The police are currently investigating and it would be inappropriate for us to comment further.”

Bull gets horns under bumper in attack

A ROAD-raging bull takes improper use of a horn to a whole new level as it savages a car.

The beast spent 15 minutes attacking the motor, lifting it from all sides and slamming it back down.

The crazed bull also made several attempts to topple the car before locals in Hajipur, in India’s Bihar state, chased it off by throwing bricks and wielding logs.

Thankfully, the car was empty and no one was hurt. But the battered vehicle will be needing a bull service.
