Typo of the day

Lib Dem candidate for Putney Sue Wixley makes quite a boast in her election leaflet, stating she “led the campaign to ban landmines in South Africa, was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize”. It isn’t totally untrue. She said that while she did “a play a major part in the ban” it was a campaign which won the prize. Ms Wixley said: “It is clear from this typo I didn’t get the award for proof-reading”.
