Wake-up call for dozy thief
AN addict who fell asleep in court was remanded in custody so he would be wide awake for sentencing.
Judge Paul Darlow told Thomas Fagan: “I won’t have you falling asleep through proceedings.”
Fagan, 23, of no fixed address is due at Plymouth crown court on Monday.
He is facing jail for defying a community order to tackle his heroin habit.
The order was made for offences including a threat to stab a security guard with scissors.
