SOLOMON ISLANDS: JK
Katherine Tata and her nine-month-old JK live in Titiana on Gizo island, part of the Solomons, which has one of the fastest rates of rising sea levels – five of the islands have been lost over seven decades.
“We live a metre above sea level and have noticed it rising,” says Katherine, 26. “My family have lived here for generations. I’m worried future ones won’t be able to. We’re having to travel further to find fish.”
