Have an illuminating time for free in London’s ‘Manhattan on Thames’ next month.
The Winter Lights festival returns to Canary Wharf from January 16 to 25 with two dozen light art installations from all over the world.
Ranging from a 1,480ft mass of digital neon tubing and 100 circles of red strobes to a drifting column of light and animated water creatures, the exhibits will be complemented by a variety of food and drink trucks.
A Canary Wharf spokesman said: ‘’The stunning immersive and interactive artworks will thrill and astound visitors – and we hope it goes some way to inspiring the next generation.”
The lights will be switched on from 4-10pm daily.
