INTER ROLL OUT MAT TO LAND ERIK

- THE ORIGINAL BY JOHN CROSS GOSSIP COLUMN... THE BIGGEST MOVES...

INTER MILAN are trying to put Matias Vecino into a player-plus-cash deal for Christian Eriksen.

The Serie A giants are pushing to do a £20million deal for Tottenham contract rebel Eriksen, who becomes a free agent in the summer.

Inter want to get the deal done this month and throw midfielder Vecino into the package, with Spurs keen to sell now rather than lose Eriksen (right) for nothing at the end of the season.

But Eriksen has set his heart on a move to Spain and knows he will get a bigger contract as a free agent. So, it will take a huge offer from Inter to get the deal done.

Sources suggest any move is still some way from being agreed, but Inter are pushing hard to make it happen.

Hammers ready to net Neil CARDIFF manager Neil Harris hinted that Neil Etheridge is edging closer to a move to the Premier League.

The Philippines international (above) was left out of the starting XI for the South Wales derby draw with Swansea amid interest from West Ham.

Etheridge missed a £12million summer move to Aston Villa after they chose England keeper Tom Heaton instead.

But he now looks set for a move to London to provide cover for Lukasz Fabianski, who is struggling with a hamstring problem.

NORWICH last night signed Hertha Berlin midfielder Ondrej Duda on loan for the rest of the season.

The Slovakian, 25, has not played in six weeks but caught the eye with 11 goals and six assists in the Bundesliga last season.

Canaries boss Daniel Farke said: “It’s a good deal for all parties.”
