Liam Gallagher’s son and Ringo’s grandson in court after ‘Tesco booze bust-up’
IN DESPAIR Sarah Harvey
A FORMER air hostess jumped to her death from the 54th floor of one of the world’s tallest skyscrapers, an inquest has heard.
Sarah Harvey, 34, from Rainow in Cheshire, had started work in Dubai as a PA for a hotel group.
But the ex-Emirates employee told family she was prescribed medication for depression and anxiety.
The law and German graduate lived in a flat in the 1,105ft-high Marina Torch in Dubai Marina.
On August 16, 2016, she wrote five suicide notes before leaping from a window, falling 24 floors to a balcony, the hearing in Warrington was told.
Her parents John and Carole said: “She discussed with us she was being prescribed anti-depressants but she didn’t elaborate to the depth of her despair.” Verdict: suicide.
LIAM Gallagher’s son and Ringo Starr’s grandson have denied affray after being accused of a late-night fight in a supermarket.
Gene Gallagher, 18, and Sonny Starkey, 19, indicated not guilty pleas to fighting in a Tesco Express in Hampstead, North London.
They were joined in the dock by 19-year-old model Noah Ponte who is further accused of racially abusing an Asian shop worker.
Starkey and Gallagher were allegedly caught on CCTV “windmilling” down the aisle at staff who were trying to prevent them from leaving.
Gallagher, son of Oasis frontman Liam and All Saints singer Nicole Appleton, was accompanied at court by his uncle, Prodigy star Liam
Howlett.
Starkey, the grandson of Beatles’ drummer Sir
Ringo, was supported yesterday by his Sir Ringo Starr drummer and road manager father, Jason. All three are charged with affray, using or threatening unlawful violence towards another, with Ponte also charged with racially aggravated common assault on May 17 last year.
Ponte is accused of telling worker Shium Patel: “You bloody Indians. Go back to where you came from. You’re not wanted here.”
It was alleged that Ponte had been refused alcohol because it was after 11pm and then attempted to leave the shop with a can of beer.
It is believed a fight broke out when staff tried to intervene.
All three opted for a jury trial and are due to appear at Wood Green crown court on March 9.
The trio, who all wore smart suits for their appearance at Highbury Corner magistrates court, spoke only to give their addresses, dates of birth and their nationalities as English.
Gallagher played drums for his dad on Later … With Jools Holland last October and was pictured with Sonny at a fashion launch in September.
Last year,wGallagher was expelled from £6,459-a-term King Alfred’s School in Golder’s Green, North London.
