Farewell Harry and good luck!
■ All eyes were on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as they performed their last official duty as senior members of the Royal Family at the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster (Mirror, March 10).
I feel it’s really sad in many ways when we remember how welldisposed people were towards Meghan at first and I couldn’t help noticing that over the past few days she seemed really happy – the visit to the school in Dagenham was great to see.
Let us just hope as they begin a new chapter in their lives, everything will all work out as they hope.
I believe the Royal Family will miss them, as will the general public. We’ll all have to wait and see what happens next.

■ Watching the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey, I was full of admiration and awe for our wonderful Queen. How she has the stamina to cope with such a long service, much of it on her feet, at 93 years of age I just can’t imagine. I think it is cruel of Harry and Meghan to cause such a crisis in the British monarchy while the Queen is in her twilight years. They have their lives ahead of them, she hasn’t.

■ It was sad to see Prince Harry and Meghan perform their last function as fully fledged royals. Harry has been part of our lives since he was a boy and I’m sorry that he is leaving the UK and that he and Wills aren’t as close as they once were.
It’s also a sad day for the Queen and the monarchy, but I wish them well as they start their new lives in Canada with baby Archie. Sandra White, York
■ Meghan seems to be totally obsessed with her own persona. To upstage Camilla prior to her giving a very important speech addressing domestic violence on the 10th Anniversary of the Women of the World Festival by having photographs of herself displayed here, there and everywhere was nothing short of disgraceful (Mirror, March 7).
I am glad she and Prince Harry are leaving the country. It is sad to say, but it does appear that he is manipulated by her and will sink into the plastic world of celebrity, which I feel he may come to regret in later life.

■ I feel that Meghan is a calculated woman who will stop at nothing to get what she wants. What Meghan wants, Meghan gets.
It appears everything is planned in advance for maximum publicity for her own gain. In my view, all she has done is cause heartache to those around Prince Harry and, in time, no doubt to Harry himself. Linda Harper, Romford, Essex
■ I am an ardent royalist and have been all my life, so I am rather disappointed with Prince Harry for turning his back of our country.
As for British taxpayers paying for his and Meghan’s security costs, this money would do more good being put into the NHS or schools.

■ The sad look on the faces of Charles, Camilla, Wills and Kate during the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster said it all.
Meghan, on the other hand, was smiling.
Goodbye Harry and good luck! You are going need it!
