FURY WANTS AN INSTA DUEL WITH JOSHUA

- BY CHRIS McKENNA

TYSON FURY and Anthony Joshua may not be meeting in the ring any time soon — so the Gypsy King has challenged his British rival to an Instagram showdown.

Instead of trading blows Fury wants the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight champion to join in on his morning workout.

Fury (above) has been entertaining fans by putting on a fitness workout at 9am on Instagram.

The WBC champ puts wife Paris and his followers through their paces. And now he wants Joshua, 30, (above) to join him.

Fury said: “I’m going to have a look through my phone book and see who I can find to join us. I’ve got a few favourites who I would like to get on, and I’m gonna see if I can get them.

“I wonder if I can get AJ and his missus to come on and have a workout with the Gypsy King and Queen.” Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn and Fury’s man Frank Warren are keen for their fighters to face each other. But Joshua must defend his titles against Kubrat Pulev next, while Fury is contracted to a third fight against Deontay Wilder, pencilled in for October.

That leaves no chance of them fighting each other in 2020, but talks will start if they come through their next bouts unscathed.

Mike Tyson has told fellow American Wilder to accept his loss to Fury and not look for excuses if he wants his title back.

Wilder blamed the 40lb costume he wore on his ringwalk for the first defeat of his career in February.

But former world champ Tyson told Yahoo Sport: “You must be able to accept mistakes and not be consumed by ego. We look for excuses when we lose.

“But you must accept it and use it as an education.”
